UAE Cyber Security Council joins Gartner Research board

United Arab Emirates Council is the first agency in the Middle East to join Gartner Research Board. This reflects the country’s growing international importance and important role in cybersecurity.
Dr. Mohamed Hamad Al-Kuwait, Chief Cyber Security Officer for the United Arab Emirates Government, will represent the UAE Cyber Security Council on the Gartner Board panel.
A panel that includes international cybersecurity pioneers working to safeguard the world’s digital future. Its members vote annually to approve research studies that share relevant best ideas and best practices.
Dr Al Kuwait said the UAE Cyber Security Council was the first federal agency in the Middle East to join Gartner’s board.
“This shows his UAE excellence and progress in the field of cybersecurity,” he said.
The United Arab Emirates wants to work with strategic partners and international organizations to address common global challenges and find creative solutions, he added.
